Exotic Styles Of Love (Commentary)

In the real world everyone has a real style of actions and emotions that they use when they are in love and while making love. For some the love style is not as common as the style of others. While the media and certain religious groups may call these love styles aberrant or worst, the truth is that they are just different styles of love making. Often called “Kinks” and “fetishes”, they are just the things that a person likes and in the mind of that person are linked to sexuality. I can’t hope to cover them all, so I covered some that I found interesting.

 

   

BDSM

What is BDSM and D/s?

The letters “BD” means  “Bondage + Dominance” or “Bondage + Discipline” while the letters SM mean “Sadism + Masochism”. Included in this realm is all D/S or Dominance and Submission. The funny thing is that this is the smorgasbord of sexuality kinks. BDSM is a series of things. A person may like any of them or just one or two of them. for example, a person may like being a sex slave but the only things they like is the sexual effects that the partner generate without any toys of any kind and no anal. That doesn’t make them any less into D/s. Some only like cloth and a more symbolic type of play and some like steel that ensures full and actual control. It is all personal.

So how do you do BDSM or D/s in a ARP. You should look for partners that like this and be clear about the things that you like and would enjoy. Also take it slow (figuratively) as you feel out the first couple of times to make sure that your partner and you are both on the same plain of enjoyment.. So be very open to and encourage feedback. This can be done in role play after the scene has come to an end but it must be honest and frank.  

A couple of important things that are needed to be said however. Just because you are playing a Dom doesn’t mean you can act like a jerk. The Masters and Domes first must apply these skills to themselves to be credible to a sub of slave. Also, just because a person is a sub doesn’t mean that they are free use for anyone that sees them. You must still talk to them with respect. I will tell you that the most important thing is to read the profile of those you approach. There are a few persons that actually DO want you to ARP as a totally controlling person when you approach them but this is not the rule but a frequent exception.

 

 

Gay, Lesbians vs Bi

Very often persons in an ARP act as if they are gay and aren’t. No if you are gay or bi then I don’t have to tell you anything about it. If not this section is to give you a little heads up on the love styles of gay male and female persons.

(And as soon as someone that is gay gives me a short post able article for this place it will be here. )

 

 

Sexual Watersports

Sexual watersports not to be confused with aquatic sex or water polo, is having sex using urine (AKA piss).  Sounds nasty to those that are not into it but it deserves a  brief mention here as furries in a chat room are assumed to have both human and non-human animal biological traits. As anyone that has ever watched felines or canine pets can attest “number one” or water fluids are frequently used both to transmit messages between animals. This can be to denote territory and messages of fertility among other things. So it is very conceivable that a furry may find the use of watersports in a limited way in a scene.

This is in practice rarely done. This aspect of the animal part of the furry’s nature is usually omitted. However, It should be noted that in domination scenes or as part of a even bonding ritual this may happen. In these cases, the amount is very small and can be termed ‘spray’ (as a verb spraying).  Don’t let it bug you. It may not lead to deeper watersports scenes. In the case of some, watersports are indulged in as a kink and not a element of furry.   Either way, this as with all other elements in ARP the other player should be informed of your desire before it is attempted.

 

 

Magic

One of the coolest things that can happen in ARP is things that can’t happen in the real world. One of these things is magic. Whether it is a typical spell, miracle or psychic power, the effect is to make something unusual happen in a way that is un-natural.

Now while, the use of spells in RPGs (Role Playing Games) like dungeons and Dragons is to defeat in-game monsters, the effect in this game is to enhance the ARP. Magic is not generally useful for forcing a game to run by itself. It should be done to add a tings to the situation that you may dream as being fun or help to make the action occur in a way that is different.

For example, for the last few years I have used latex as a living thing and an expression of my subconscious. So my latex takes the form of little cute latex creatures and is known to chase fursons around  a room one minute and play with them in a more adult way with equal vigor.

Now there are some basic suggestions that you should think about before attempting magic:

·        Do not use magic spells posed as poems or non-sense words.

I used to make spells that sounded like they came from an episode of Gargoyles or Macbeth. I understood it and about an hour after my partner thought about it, she realized that she understood it as well. But by that time, she was angry and upset. The scene had fallen apart because she was thinking lovemaking and got poetry. Like comedy, after the loving begins, the poetry should end.

·        Keep the spell effects simple and visual.

The idea is that the magic should make for a better scene. Good scenes are visual and likewise, spells effects should always have a visual component. The effect said and seen in the posting.

 

 

Fighting and Combat

 

It may sound odd to some but fighting is sometimes the prelude to ARP. The fact is that even here there are some rules and they are even more important here then anywhere else.

1.         Only use fighting ARP with those that like that kind of thing.

(It doesn’t need to be often said but the fact is, not everyone likes fighting as a form of foreplay. Make sure that the other person enjoys it in explicate communication. )

2.         Don’t let the combat drag on

(Many times one person will want the fighting to last a longer time then the other person. This is not good. If a person really wants to move on to the main event ARP, the person may post traps, clinches or do a ‘knock out punch’. The other person wants to end this. Let them. It is quickly not becoming fun for the other furson. )

3.         Don’t power game.

(No one wants to be hurt. No one wants to loose but face facts, if you fight then this will happen. The result of often Power gaming. Maybe the one person wants to be all powerful or just doesn’t want to be hurt. The effect is that it is unfun. Be hit and hurt and let it happen. Being hurt is just a part of the game and later could be part of the ARP love making.)

4.         Follow the hit-wound-hit-wound pattern.

(This is the pattern that makes most games fun to watch and be in. Simply put, if the one person hits you then you hit them. You remain even as the battle comes to an end. If it is understood that one of you is going to win, then let the ‘winner/dominant player, to hit twice and be twice as hard until the ‘victory’ is achieved.)

4.         Don’t use your fantasy game/writing world.

(You may know what the facts are for your fantasy world but others don’t. It is not fair or fun. If you really want to play in your game world then definitely do so, but don’t do it with someone that is out for an ARP session and doesn’t want to RPG at all. If you still want to do this make sure the other person knows everything they need for them to win or loose as they desire.)

5.         Do use physical combat.

(Boxing, wrestling and martial arts have terminology that your partner may understand so you don’t have to do a lot of explaining. Moreover, the action is far more visual and makes it easier for you to describe without breaking the posting actions.)
